Hamilton Faris co-founded and currently heads the Data Sciences & Services group for MetLife’s Americas division, serving as the in-house end-to-end data and analytics competency driving actionable business decisions and results. Formed in 2009 with an original focus on MetLife’s US Businesses, Hamilton continues to drive the data strategy for the Americas, expanding the application of data management, informatics, and data sciences to drive insights and value across the entire insurance business value chain. Today, Hamilton has uniquely positioned the Data Sciences and Services group as a competitive differentiator for the Company. From providing the thought leadership and advisory for the propagation of business analytics across the globe, to supporting Enterprise Strategies such, to enabling and operationalizing the 360 view of MetLife’s Clients through a proactive data management capability, to fully realizing the value of the data sciences and embedding predictive and prescriptive models within business processes. To date, the Data Sciences & Services for MetLife Americas has been able to realize significant financially tracked benefits across top line growth and bottom line impacts. Hamilton is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1994). He is actively involved in a number of local community service organizations including Dad’s Night and READS. Hamilton is married and consumed with being a dad to his three sons from playing, sports, coaching, video games, to creating and building anything they can imagine.
